Our records show that you may have purchased or received a Ravin R500 model crossbow. Ravin has advised L.L.Bean of a product safety recall affecting various R500 models. There is a possibility that if nearly but not fully cocked, the crossbow can discharge unexpectedly while consumers cock or uncock the crossbow, posing an injury hazard.
For your safety, please immediately stop using the crossbow.
Please review the attached recall information from Ravin, follow the instructions to determine whether your product is affected by the recall, and if so, submit your information to Ravin to seek a repair.
