We will ship the item when it becomes available. In most cases, you can expect delivery 7-10 business days after the "Available" date shown in your order summary.
We try our best to provide an accurate estimate for availability of backordered items at the time you place your order. Occasionally, however, the ship date changes due to unforeseen manufacturing or shipping delays. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause you.
When a backordered item is delayed more than 30 days beyond the original estimated ship date, we are required by law to cancel your order for this item unless you request otherwise. To accept the new date or cancel the item, simply click the corresponding button on the order details page. If you do not see an "Accept Date" button next to your item, you may contact us for assistance at 800-813-7309.
Occasionally, merchandise arrives ahead of schedule. In this case, your item may have already been shipped. If you decide you no longer want the item, please return it to us. We will promptly reimburse the purchase price and shipping charge.
If you ordered by credit card, your account has not yet been charged. If you paid with a check or gift card, a refund will be sent by mail. Any portion of your payment made with L.L.Bean Coupon Dollars will be reallocated to your L.L.Bean® Visa® account as available coupon dollars.

Unfortunately, once we have processed the cancellation it cannot be reversed. However, you can easily place a new order for the item you’d like.
The item may no longer be available, or may have been delayed beyond the original estimated ship date. If we sent you notification of a further delay but did not hear back from you, we are required by law to cancel your order for that item.
